The Burden of the Hive

This painting embodies the invisible weight of creation and transformation. The female figure nude and winged  carries a living hive upon her back, symbolizing fertility, constant labor, and sacrifice. It reflects the burden of giving life, nurturing growth, and sustaining balance between fragility and strength.
The bees surrounding her act as both witnesses and collaborators tiny guardians that make existence possible. Bathed in warm dawn tones, the scene reveals the duality of creation: how sweetness is born from effort, and renewal emerges from pain.
