Shadows of Postpartum
Shadows of Postpartum explores the silent weight that follows birth the emotional cocoon where joy and darkness coexist. Suspended in vulnerability, the female figure becomes both seed and shadow, wrapped in a fragile veil that symbolizes the expectations placed on new mothers.
The surrounding roots reflect the emotional labyrinth of postpartum depression: tangled thoughts, invisible isolation, and the quiet struggle to find light again.
Amid the darkness, subtle butterflies emerge as symbols of resilience and transformation, reminding us that even in the deepest shadows, new wings are forming. This work reveals a side of motherhood that is often unseen, honoring the courage of every woman who learns to breathe, rebuild, and rise again.
